Quang Ninh will simultaneously launch and inaugurate 31 projects.

At the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee meeting on December 13th, Quang Ninh Provincial Party Secretary Quan Minh Cuong requested the Provincial People's Committee to continue directing thorough preparations for the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies. At the same time, he emphasized the need to ensure the most favorable conditions for new projects to commence construction on the ground, especially large-scale, strategically important projects.

Accordingly, it is expected that on December 19th, the entire province will simultaneously commence construction on 26 projects with a total investment of 383 trillion VND, and inaugurate 5 projects with a total investment of approximately 7 trillion VND.

The projects that have commenced or been inaugurated are concentrated in the fields of transportation infrastructure, industry, energy, social housing, and some projects in the fields of education, healthcare, and commercial services; among them, Vingroup 's Ha Long Green complex urban area project is currently the largest urban project in terms of capital, with a total investment of nearly 18 billion USD and an area of over 4,100 hectares in Tuan Chau and Ha An wards.

In addition, the Quang Ninh LNG power plant project in Cua Ong ward has a total investment of over 2.2 billion USD. The high-end integrated tourism service complex project in Van Don Special Economic Zone, invested by Sungroup, has a total capital of over 2 billion USD. The Monbay Van Don high-end resort and entertainment complex, golf course and residential area project interacts with tourism activities in the Van Don Special Economic Zone with a total investment of nearly 1 billion USD.

In addition, the group of key transportation infrastructure projects includes: the Northwest coastal road of Cua Luc Bay (8.3 km), with a budget investment of approximately 2,525 billion VND; the coastal road extending from Tran Quoc Nghien to Cau Bang (7.4 km), with a budget investment of approximately 2,590 billion VND; the renovation and upgrading of National Highway 4B (22.9 km), with a budget investment of approximately 1,800 billion VND; and the road through Song Khoai Industrial Park connecting the Ha Long - Hai Phong expressway to Dong Trieu (6.5 km), with a total investment of approximately 1,239 billion VND from the state budget…

A series of projects in the fields of healthcare and education include: the outpatient clinic of Quang Ninh Provincial General Hospital, with an investment of 1,250 billion VND; expansion and upgrading of Vietnam-Sweden Hospital, with a total investment of 1,540 billion VND; expansion of Quang Ninh Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, with an investment of 646 billion VND; and construction of a new Bai Chay High School in Bai Chay ward, with an investment of 260 billion VND.

Among the projects inaugurated were: Bach Dang High School in Hiep Hoa ward, with a total investment of 232 billion VND; the renovation and construction of Dong Trieu Medical Center with an investment of 390 billion VND; and a storm shelter and anchorage area for fishing boats on Co To Island, Co To Special Economic Zone, with an investment of 659 billion VND...
