With the theme "Green Growth and Digital Transformation: Innovation for a Sustainable Vietnam," the Techfest Vietnam 2025 competition is built on the orientation of promoting innovative startup models associated with social and environmental responsibility and a long-term vision, while highlighting projects that apply high technology, are environmentally friendly, and are closely linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - the foundation for Vietnam's digital economy and green future.
For the first time, the competition welcomed international teams to participate in solving practical problems in Vietnam. This not only enhances the integration and professional quality of the competition but also creates a foundation for multilateral cooperation, connecting global knowledge and technology to address the country's development challenges.
Following the presentation and Q&A sessions, the judging panel independently evaluated each project based on criteria such as innovation level, implementability, operational model quality, expansion potential, and impact value. Based on this evaluation, the main awards of the Techfest Vietnam 2025 competition were announced.
Among the top 10 projects in the competition, Da Nang city had one startup, VOX COOL JSC, with its "Refrigeration Battery" solution. The solution combines materials science and systems engineering to address issues in the frozen supply chain, including cold storage and cold transportation, particularly concerning operating costs, food security, and climate change in Vietnam.
The National Innovation and Startup Festival - Techfest Vietnam 2025, organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Hanoi People's Committee, will take place from December 12th to 14th. A new feature this year is that the festival will be held in an open space: the Ho Guom pedestrian street in Hanoi.
