Growlab wins first prize in the 2025 National Innovation Startup Talent Search Competition.

DNVN - The championship title, along with a prize of $20,000 and a ticket to represent Vietnam at the Startup World Cup 2026 in San Francisco (USA), has been awarded to the Growlab team.

The championship title went to the Growlab team.

Within the framework of the National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Festival - TECHFEST Vietnam, the final round of the National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent Search Competition took place on the evening of December 12th at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Hanoi .

With the theme "Green Growth and Digital Transformation: Innovation for a Sustainable Vietnam," the 10 best teams, meeting the criteria for innovative startup models linked to social and environmental responsibility and a long-term vision, closely aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), were selected.

Based on criteria such as innovation level, implementability, quality of the operating model, potential for expansion, and the impact value of each project, the Judging Panel selected the winners for the competition.

The championship title went to the Growlab team.

Growlab is a Vietnamese biotechnology startup that is transforming the coconut industry through Multipuno™, a patent-pending technique capable of producing uniform, high-yield coconut seedlings on a large scale. Growlab is the first to successfully cultivate coconut tissue culture on a large scale, offering a timely and scalable solution to the severe shortage of quality seedlings. Multipuno™ seedlings can help farmers increase their income up to 20 times, create green jobs, and ensure a stable supply for processors and exporters.

The runner-up prize , worth $7,000 in cash, went to Volterra.

Volterra is an AI solution and PaaS platform for electric vehicle charging infrastructure developers. Through Digital Twin, AI Optimization, and Dynamic Load Management, it integrates renewable energy (wind, solar) and BESS storage systems to help charging station operators address high electricity costs, shorten payback periods, and expand networks faster in Vietnam, while contributing to the Net Zero 2050 goal. Based on assumptions applied to the EV charging network in Vietnam, Volterra reduces operating costs by 40% and improves return on investment by three times.

The runner-up prize , worth $20,000 in cash, went to IDO E-commerce Services Co., Ltd. (Biglead), a company specializing in providing comprehensive technology solutions for businesses.

Biglead CRM, a flagship product, not only optimizes customer care, automates sales processes, and centralizes data, but also promotes digital and green transformation, helping businesses operate more efficiently and sustainably. Biglead CRM supports businesses in empowering disadvantaged groups in society, improving equitable access to services, and contributing to the effective implementation of Resolution 68 of the Vietnamese Government .

In addition to the main awards, the Organizing Committee also announced two supplementary awards: the Investment Fund's Choice Award, given to the Dayladau team, and the Outstanding Impact Award, given to the PLANTNER team. Each award is worth $15,000 in cash.
