On December 13th, to celebrate Christmas 2025 and welcome the New Year 2026, a delegation from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, led by Ms. Vo Ngoc Thanh Truc, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, and President of the Vietnam Women's Union of Ho Chi Minh City, visited, presented gifts, and extended congratulations to outstanding organizations and individuals among the Catholic and Protestant communities.

In the morning, the delegation visited and congratulated Father Joseph Nguyen Van Luong (Long Huong ward); Father Peter Tran Thanh Son and Father Joseph Nguyen Xuan Quang (Tan Phuoc ward); Father Paul Le Dinh Hung (Chau Duc commune); and Father Paul Pham Minh Tan (Hoa Hiep commune).

Later that afternoon, the delegation continued their visit to Father Joseph Dinh Phuoc Dai (Long Dien commune); Sister Maria Pham Thi Long (Long Hai commune); Father Peter Ngo Xuan Dong (Phuoc Thang ward); Pastor Nguyen Hoang Thanh Lam and Father Peter Nguyen Minh Hung (Vung Tau ward).

At each location, Comrade Vo Ngoc Thanh Truc cordially inquired about the well-being of the dignitaries, clergy, and parishioners, and extended her best wishes for a peaceful Christmas and a happy New Year.

Representatives of Catholic and Protestant religious leaders expressed their appreciation for the attention of Ho Chi Minh City leaders, and affirmed that they will continue to encourage their followers to live "good lives and uphold moral values," working together to build a more civilized and compassionate locality.
