2Phong with the Good Agricultural Practices model

Dong Nai, a major agricultural region in the Southeast of Vietnam, is experiencing positive changes in many agricultural models: soil fertility is being restored, crops are growing healthily, and productivity is increasing significantly. A key contributor to this transformation is the partnership of the 2Phong fertilizer brand, with its sustainable farming philosophy of "Healthy Soil - Healthy Crops" linked to the 2Phong Good Agricultural Practices Project.

Beyond simply supplying fertilizers, 2Phong is working with farmers to create a sustainable future for production, where land is regenerated, agricultural products are enhanced, and the value of farming is preserved for many years.

Land degradation necessitates innovation in farming methods.

With large areas dedicated to growing coffee, durian, cashew, pepper, rubber, and many other high-value economic crops, Dong Nai is facing an urgent need to innovate its farming methods, especially in the context of climate change, extreme weather events, and prolonged soil degradation. In response to this practical need, 2Phong Fertilizer regularly organizes quarterly scientific conferences and customer appreciation events. At the conference recently held in Binh Phuoc ward, agricultural experts and numerous farmers unanimously agreed that the "health" of the soil is the fundamental factor determining the yield and quality of agricultural products.

Dr. Pham Cong Tri, an agricultural expert, emphasized: To achieve stable cultivation, it is necessary to restore humus content, increase microbial activity, limit reliance on fast-dissolving chemical fertilizers, and overcome soil compaction. This assessment accurately reflects the reality of agricultural production in the locality, where many cultivated areas have experienced a decline in their ability to retain moisture and nutrients, directly affecting crop growth.

"Healthy soil - Healthy plants" and how to demonstrate this in your garden.

With a focus on sustainable agricultural development, 2Phong implements a comprehensive range of solutions to restore soil health, most notably its new generation of organic complex NPK fertilizers using EcoNanomix technology. These products increase organic matter, improve soil structure, stimulate beneficial microorganisms, and promote strong root development, thereby enhancing nutrient absorption efficiency and reducing input costs for growers.

Notably, 2Phong also organizes live video conferences in the garden, a form of professional exchange right in the field. Here, farmers can directly observe the root system, soil aeration, and foliage recovery; and simultaneously discuss care procedures with experts and technical engineers.

Engineer Luu Minh Nguyen, Marketing Director of 2Phong, said: "This model helps farmers see results right on their own land, thereby building confidence in sustainable farming methods."

The 2Phong Good Agricultural Practices Project has been widely implemented, focusing on field diaries, monitoring growth cycles, and standardizing care procedures suitable for each crop type. This is an important support tool that helps to make farming steps transparent and meet the increasingly high demands of domestic and export markets.

Practical effectiveness of models in Dong Nai

Through monitoring, many new production models in Dong Nai province have recorded positive results after applying 2Phong's solution. In communes such as Nghia Trung, Dak Nhau, Bom Bo, Binh Tan, Long Ha, etc., many farmers reported that the soil is more porous, the humus content has improved, and the number of earthworms and crickets has increased. These are important indicators of healthy soil.

Mr. Nguyen Van Be, owner of a durian orchard with over 200 trees in its second year of production, assessed: "The soil retains moisture better, and the soil color is noticeably darker than before. Many growers have improved their productivity and recovery ability after harvest."

Meanwhile, Mr. Bui Quang Khiem, a durian orchard owner in Nghia Trung commune, said: "My 60 durian trees yielded 11 tons last season; this year, the trees are growing strongly, with stable shoots and foliage right from the beginning of the season, and I expect the yield to continue to increase."

For coffee, the effect is even more pronounced. Mr. Xu Vay Phong is a farmer with nearly 20 hectares of land in Nghia Trung commune, of which nearly 5 hectares are currently cultivated with coffee. Mr. Phong cited the example of a 1-hectare plot near his house where he intercrops durian trees. Thanks to the strict application of the 2Phong Good Agricultural Practices process, the yield of his plantation has increased from 2 tons/hectare to 4-5 tons/hectare.

As for Mr. Ho Nhi Hinh, also residing in the same locality, his yield has increased from 5-6 tons in the previous season to over 10 tons this year. Notably, all the orchards maintained healthy foliage until the end of the season - an important factor in creating a foundation for the next season.

In the rubber tree sector, many households have also reported a significant increase in latex yield per harvest.

These results show that focusing on soil restoration, rather than simply increasing the amount of chemical fertilizers, has helped improve productivity, reduce costs, and create a sustainable foundation for agricultural production. Many farmers consider this a suitable long-term approach, contributing to stable livelihoods and improving the quality of local agricultural products.

The experience from Dong Nai province shows that the Good Agricultural Practices model implemented by 2Phong is yielding practical results. Restoring soil "health" not only helps increase productivity in each crop but also creates sustainable farming practices, contributing to the stable development of the agricultural sector in line with current trends. With the approach of "Healthy Soil - Healthy Plants," these models are opening up new prospects for agricultural production in one of the key regions of the country.

In the context of unpredictable climate, degraded soil, and a demanding export market, 2Phong is offering a sustainable approach: prioritizing soil health. The 2Phong Good Agricultural Practices project is creating significant changes in Dong Nai province, helping farmers increase productivity while protecting their soil, their most valuable asset. Healthy soil - Healthy plants - Sustainable agriculture: this is the commitment and the journey that 2Phong is pursuing to the end.
