Attending the ceremony were Colonel Khuat Ba Cao - Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Commander of the 15th Army Corps; representatives of the leadership and commanders of agencies and units under the 15th Army Corps; and 143 comrades who are defense workers and civil servants selected as professional soldiers in 2025.
At the ceremony, authorized by the Minister of National Defense , Colonel Ha Trong Bao, Head of the Military Personnel Department of the Army Corps, announced Decision No. 6247/QD-BQP dated December 5, 2025, of the Minister of National Defense on the selection of professional soldiers from defense workers and civil servants in 2025.
Accordingly, the Minister of National Defence has decided to select, classify salaries, and confer military ranks on 143 professional soldiers belonging to the 15th Army Corps. The decision takes effect from December 1, 2025.
The 2025 professional soldier recruitment drive of the 15th Army Corps was implemented rigorously and according to procedures, ensuring standards regarding political qualities, moral conduct, health, and professional competence.
These are exemplary defense workers and officials who have been with the unit for many years, directly participating in production and economic development linked to national defense in the strategic Central Highlands region.
The selection of professional soldiers from the ranks of defense workers and officials is not only a well-deserved recognition of each individual's dedication and contributions, but also plays a crucial role in building a more professional and elite force for the Corps, meeting the demands of the mission in the new situation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Hoang Van Sy, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Commander of the 15th Army Corps, emphasized: The selection of defense workers and civil servants to become professional soldiers demonstrates the concern of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Party Committee and Command of the 15th Army Corps for the work of building a professional military force, meeting the requirements of building a "lean, strong, and modern" army.
The Commander of the 15th Army Corps requested that the newly selected professional soldiers continue to uphold the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers"; constantly study, train, and improve their professional skills; strictly abide by military discipline, and successfully complete all assigned tasks.
