First Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Khanh Hoa Tourism Association

At the conference, the Khanh Hoa Tourism Association announced the Decision of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee on the merger of the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association and the Ninh Thuan Tourism Association into the Khanh Hoa Tourism Association. Accordingly, the merged Khanh Hoa Tourism Association has an Executive Board of 55 members, a Standing Committee of 15 members, and an Inspection Board of 6 members. Mr. Pham Minh Nhut, Chairman of the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, was appointed Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Tourism Association. The Association has 10 Vice-Chairmen, with Mr. Nguyen Quang Thang serving as the Permanent Vice-Chairman.

The Executive Committee of the Khanh Hoa Tourism Association held discussions and approved the direction for the 2025-2030 term, which identified key tasks: Repositioning the image of Khanh Hoa tourism, connecting resources, creating products with added value and unique identity; developing focused tourism products, maximizing the strength of businesses and the community; promoting and introducing Khanh Hoa's tourism potential to domestic and international tourists and travel agencies through information channels, websites, central and local news agencies and press; strengthening personnel, consolidating and developing the association to grow stronger in both quantity and quality, establishing new branches according to geographical areas and industries, striving to increase official membership by 30% by 2026 and aiming for 50% of 3-5 star hotels to join the association by the end of the term.

Furthermore, the association will focus on improving the quality of its operations, training, and developing human resources in the tourism sector, aiming to enhance soft skills and professional expertise to meet ASEAN standards and strive towards international standards; strengthen regional linkages and expand cooperation with domestic and international tourism associations; actively participate in tourism fairs, organize roadshows, famtrips, and press trips to promote the image of Khanh Hoa tourism; leverage its role as a bridge between businesses and state management agencies, promptly identify and address difficulties and obstacles faced by member units, and represent and protect the legitimate rights and interests of members; and promote the application of digital technology in the association's management and operation, upgrade its website, and improve its electronic information pages and social media.
