Nearly 75 billion VND to support tuition fees for students of non-public schools

GD&TĐ - From the 2025-2026 school year, Gia Lai province will spend nearly 75 billion VND to support tuition fees for more than 38,000 students at non-public schools in the area.

On October 27th, at the 4th session of the 12th term of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council, a resolution was passed to support tuition fees for preschool children and primary and secondary school students in non-public educational institutions in the province.

Accordingly, starting from the 2025-2026 school year, Gia Lai province will allocate nearly 75 billion VND to support tuition fees for more than 38,000 students in private and non-governmental preschools and primary and secondary schools throughout the province.

The Provincial People's Committee proposed that the tuition fee support for students at all levels in urban areas be 300,000 VND/person/month. For rural areas, from preschool to junior high school, the support would be 100,000 VND/person/month; and for high school, it would be 200,000 VND/person/month.

For ethnic minority and mountainous regions, the support level for education from preschool to lower secondary school is 50,000 VND/person/month, and for upper secondary school it is 100,000 VND/person/month.
