Initially, local authorities and relevant agencies recorded 7 landslide points on Gia Bac Pass. Among them, there were 2 large-scale landslides at Km 51 and Km 50+200 on National Highway 28. At these locations, both the embankment and the slope collapsed, with large amounts of soil and rocks spilling down and burying the road surface, disrupting traffic on National Highway 28.

Authorities have deployed forces and equipment to address the landslide. However, due to the large amount of soil spilled onto the road, causing slippery conditions, authorities advise people to limit travel through Gia Bac Pass to ensure safety.
