On the world market, the price of silver is listed at $58.29 per ounce, an increase of $0.23 compared to the morning of December 9th.
According to precious metals analyst James Hyerczyk at FX Empire, silver prices are nearing record highs, driven by strong buying from ETFs, which is tightening supply.
" In the first four days of December, ETFs attracted the most silver since July, even as prices were near record highs. This strong buying not only tightened supply but also indicated an accumulation trend ," he said.
Silver is not only an investment metal, but also a key ingredient in solar energy production, accounting for about 20% of annual production, James Hyerczyk added. The renewable energy sector is expanding rapidly, keeping industrial demand steady. When prices fall, industrial buyers often step in, helping to prevent a sharp decline.
" Meanwhile, the market risks a deficit for the fourth consecutive year, with inventories at multi-year lows. When supply is limited, even slight increases in demand have a significant impact on prices, explaining why silver prices have doubled this year ," he noted.
