This is a carefully selected team after a lengthy preparation process, with the immediate goal of reaching the final and aiming for a gold medal match against the host nation.

Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang stated that the entire team has prepared thoroughly, both professionally and psychologically. The formations have been perfected, the playing style is clearly defined, and the coaching staff has developed suitable tactical plans for each specific opponent. Domestic and international training camps, along with four high-quality friendly matches, have helped the players gain more experience and improve their ability to adapt to high-intensity play. According to the coaching staff, the team's morale is currently very high, and they are ready to enter the tournament.
Assessing the opponents at the SEA Games 33, Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang believes the road ahead will not be easy. Indonesia is considered a formidable opponent, having made significant progress and displayed impressive form at the Asian Championships with a diverse, high-intensity playing style and good physical fitness. Meanwhile, Myanmar has also undergone significant changes in just the past year, from the coaching staff to the way they operate their playing style and personnel, forcing the Vietnamese women's futsal team to maintain high concentration and absolutely not be complacent.
The team's objective is to approach the tournament match by match, starting with getting through the group stage. After completing this task, the coaching staff and players will make more specific plans for achieving the highest possible result at the 33rd SEA Games.
According to the schedule, the Vietnamese women's futsal team will depart for Thailand on the morning of December 10th. At this year's SEA Games, Vietnam is in Group B along with Indonesia and Myanmar. The matches will be held at BTU Hall, Bangkok Thonburi University. The team will play their opening match against Indonesia on December 12th, before facing Myanmar in their final group stage match on December 14th.
The top two teams in each group will advance to the semi-finals on December 16, before moving on to the medal matches on December 18.
