Heavy rain lasting more than 3 hours in the afternoon and evening of October 27 caused many streets in coastal wards of Lam Dong province to be deeply flooded.

Many roads such as Le Duan, Hai Thuong Lan Ong (Phan Thiet ward); Ton Duc Thang, Thu Khoa Huan (Phu Thuy ward); Vo Van Tan, Le Thi Hong Gam ( Binh Thuan ward) ... were heavily flooded in low-lying areas, and some places were cut off.

Faced with the complicated developments of the flood, last night and early this morning, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan Ward, Lam Dong Province mobilized maximum forces to urgently evacuate people in vulnerable areas, riverside, low-lying areas, and areas at risk of landslides to safety.

125 households with nearly 400 people were taken to Phu Tai Primary School - a safe shelter.

As of the evening of October 27, the erratic rain and floods in recent days have caused severe damage to many localities in Lam Dong province. Specifically, the rain and floods have submerged more than 90 houses and inundated more than 420 hectares of crops in the localities of Ham Kiem, Ham Liem, Ham Thuan Bac, and Ham Thanh.
