On October 27th, at the 4th session of the 12th term of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council, delegates approved a resolution stipulating the level of tuition fee support for preschool children and primary and secondary school students attending non-public schools in the province.

Starting from the 2025-2026 school year, Gia Lai province will provide tuition support for students attending private and non-governmental educational institutions with a total budget of nearly 75 billion VND.
According to the resolution, the entire province has more than 38,000 students who will benefit from the policy, including 30,351 preschool children and 7,883 students at the primary, secondary, and high school levels.
The support level is divided by region: urban areas 300,000 VND/student/month; rural areas 100,000 VND/month for preschool and lower secondary school, 200,000 VND/month for upper secondary school; ethnic minority and mountainous areas 50,000 VND/month for preschool and lower secondary school, 100,000 VND/month for upper secondary school.
The Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee stated that this tuition fee support is implemented in accordance with resolutions of the National Assembly and decrees of the Government on tuition fee exemption, reduction, and support for preschool children and primary and secondary school students in the national education system.
This policy aims to reduce the burden on parents, create conditions for students to pursue stable education, and encourage the socialization and development of the non-public education system in the province.
