On October 27, at the 4th session of the 12th Gia Lai Provincial People's Council, delegates passed a resolution regulating tuition support levels for preschool children and high school students studying at non-public schools in the area.

From the 2025-2026 school year, Gia Lai province will support tuition fees for students studying at private educational institutions with a total budget of nearly 75 billion VND.
According to the resolution, the whole province has more than 38,000 students benefiting from the policy, including 30,351 preschool children and 7,883 primary, secondary and high school students.
The support level is divided by region: urban areas 300,000 VND/student/month; rural areas 100,000 VND/month for preschool and secondary school, 200,000 VND/month for high school; ethnic minority and mountainous areas 50,000 VND/month for preschool and secondary school, 100,000 VND/month for high school.
Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee said that this tuition support is implemented according to the National Assembly 's resolutions and the Government's decree on tuition exemption, reduction and support for preschool children and primary school students in the national education system.
This policy aims to reduce the burden on parents, create conditions for students to study stably, and at the same time encourage socialization and development of the non-public education system in the province.
