Selection of architectural plans for the Political - Administrative Center of Dong Nai province

(DN) - On October 28, the Department of Construction organized a review of architectural design competition documents for the Dong Nai Provincial Political - Administrative Center. Attending the meeting were Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha.

Accordingly, there are 8 units and consortiums of consulting units participating in presenting, directly explaining and answering questions from the Examination Council regarding the architectural design competition documents for the Dong Nai Provincial Political - Administrative Center area.

After listening to the units and consortiums of consulting units present, explain and answer related questions, the Competition Council will evaluate and rank the competition documents for the architectural plan of the Dong Nai Province Political - Administrative Center. The Competition Council consists of 10 members who are provincial leaders, architects from the Vietnam Association of Architects and architectural schools and universities in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Dong Nai Province Political - Administrative Center is planned to be built in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park (Tran Bien Ward) after converting its functions.

In June 2025, the Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to organize the Competition for Architectural Design of the Dong Nai Provincial Political - Administrative Center. Accordingly, the competition will take place in 2 rounds: preliminary round and competitive round. Participants are domestic and foreign consulting organizations. At the end of the preliminary round, 8 dossiers of consulting units and consortiums were scored, their capacity profiles were evaluated, and they were selected to participate in the competitive round (round 2).

According to the Provincial People's Committee, the organization of the competition for the architectural plan of the Dong Nai Provincial Political - Administrative Center aims to concretize the policy of relocating and building a new provincial administrative center; gradually perfecting the administrative - urban infrastructure system, in line with the orientation of developing modern, concentrated, professional urban space and architecture, with synchronous investment in technical infrastructure. Thereby, meeting the requirements of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution, digital transformation... contributing to the management of the province's socio-economic development and serving the people effectively.
