Currently, Tan Loc commune has a medical station and 02 medical points (old Tan Loc Dong commune and old Tan Loc commune). The total number of medical staff is 18 people; including 02 level I specialists, 01 general practitioner, 01 bachelor, 07 midwives, 06 physicians, 01 nurse; 42 medical collaborators.

Tan Loc Commune Health Station and other health facilities in the area are currently degraded because they were built a long time ago; there is a lack of examination rooms, functions, and patient care due to the increasing demand for medical examination and treatment, especially during peak epidemics or community health programs; many office equipment and medical equipment are damaged and cannot be used; there is a lack of doctors, midwives and specialized human resources in the fields of family medicine, preventive medicine, obstetrics and pediatrics, etc.

Regarding the operation of the 2-level local government, Tan Loc commune was merged from 3 units: Tan Loc commune, Tan Loc Bac commune and Tan Loc Dong commune. Since the merger, the operation has basically met the requirements and tasks set out. The Party Committee of the commune has issued directive documents covering all political , economic, cultural, social, security and defense fields, clearly demonstrating proactiveness, flexibility and determination; the people in the commune agree with and support the 2-level local government operation model.

However, in the process of performing its tasks, Tan Loc commune is facing difficulties in terms of staffing, especially in the economic sector; equipment serving digital transformation is degraded and damaged; garbage collection is facing difficulties, especially because there is no collection site...

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu spoke at the meeting.

Through a field survey and listening to the report, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu assessed that Tan Loc Commune Health Station has not met the needs of the people, only examining common diseases, not specialized examinations due to outdated medical equipment and lack of skilled medical staff. In this situation, the Department of Health needs to pay attention to temporarily arranging human resources for the health station and health points; planning a health station for common use by people in 03 communes (old) after the merger; focusing on building a central health station; health points only carry out disease prevention and control work.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu praised the leaders of Tan Loc commune for effectively operating the 2-level local government model, especially in handling administrative procedures, serving the people and businesses; and emphasized: 2-level local governments must take better care of the people; build a proactive, innovative, creative government serving the people; carry out digital transformation on the network environment, creating favorable conditions for people when participating in transactions with State agencies; heads of Party and State agencies must be people serving the people; care about and guide people to participate in digital transformation.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested to well implement the plan of the Commune Party Committee on organizing the implementation of the Resolution of the Commune Party Committee; promote the spirit of internal solidarity, and be determined to build Tan Loc commune to develop more in the coming time.
