Ho Chi Minh Highway through A Vuong Commune has many landslides, including a large one in Xa'oi Village, causing complete separation. The A Vuong River has also overflowed the road in Cr'toonh Village, temporarily isolating traffic.

Road DT606 had a negative slope landslide at Km5+830. Roads DH3, DH5 and rural roads had many more large and small landslides, making it impossible for vehicles to pass.

The ground floor of Nguyen Ba Ngoc Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities was flooded 20cm deep, while A Vuong Kindergarten is at risk of landslides.

The medium voltage line through R'cung village (near Ho Chi Minh road) was broken, causing a power outage from 7 a.m. the same day.

Recorded on the morning of October 28, the flood in A Vuong commune continued to be very complicated. Heavy rains lasting for the past three days caused the water level of A Vuong river to rise rapidly, reaching the edge of A Vuong bridge in just a few hours. Currently, the villages of A Tiep, Bhlóc, Dang, Cr'toonh, A Rec, Tghây, A Pat, L'gom, Xa'oi... are experiencing landslides, rising water causing flooding and local isolation.

Faced with the above situation, the authorities have stretched ropes, placed warning signs, and restricted people and vehicles from passing through flooded and landslide areas. The power team is surveying to fix the problem. The commune authorities have evacuated 11 households with 45 people in Cr'toonh, Azút and R'cung villages to safety. Schools have proactively moved documents and assets to higher ground.

On the afternoon of October 28, A Vuong Hydropower Joint Stock Company said that currently, the average rainfall in the A Vuong basin has increased. The flow to the lake has increased, exceeding 2,500 m 3 / s, A Vuong lake will regulate to ensure the lake water level according to the inter-lake process. Therefore, all levels of industry and locality should pay attention and implement measures to minimize damage downstream.
