D'Ran Pass has serious landslides, traffic is temporarily blocked

On the evening of October 28, at the Treo Bridge area on D'Ran Pass (National Highway 20, through D'Ran Commune, Lam Dong Province), a landslide occurred from the positive slope onto the road surface, causing traffic obstruction.

Lam Dong Traffic Police Department said that at around 8:00 p.m. tonight (October 28), at km 262 + 400, the D'Ran Pass Suspension Bridge on Highway 20, a landslide occurred. Accordingly, soil and rock from the positive slope collapsed onto the D'Ran Pass road surface, obstructing traffic. In addition, authorities discovered that the road surface next to the Suspension Bridge had a crack about 10 meters long, posing a potential risk of subsidence.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Police coordinated with the functional forces of Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat and D'Ran Commune to quickly arrive at the scene, organize traffic flow, temporarily block off traffic, and prevent two-way traffic to ensure safety.

Police and militia forces of D'Ran and Xuan Truong communes - Da Lat are present to prepare for the work of clearing rocks, soil, and landslides at the Treo bridge and D'Ran pass.

For vehicles from Khanh Hoa province traveling to Da Lat in the direction of Ngoan Muc Pass, the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Province recommends choosing the route from D'Ran commune along Highway 27, then turning to Highway 20 to go to Da Lat via Prenn Pass or Mimosa Pass to ensure safety and avoid landslide areas.
