People face inconvenience when crossing D'ran Pass because the local authorities do not separate traffic from a distance.

Although a landslide occurred on National Highway 20 through D'ran Pass, Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat (Lam Dong Province) lasting nearly 2 days, local authorities did not organize announcements or remote traffic control, causing inconvenience to road users.

Notably, many tourists complained that the landslide had been going on for several days but the local authorities had not diverted traffic from afar, forcing vehicles traveling from the center of Da Lat to the scene, more than 30km away, to turn around and find another route. If choosing the route through Mimosa Pass or Prenn Pass, many people would have to travel an additional distance of nearly 100km.

At the scene, authorities banned all people and vehicles from passing through to ensure safety and have not yet announced the time when traffic will be allowed through D'ran Pass.
