On the morning of October 30, on National Highway 20, through D'ran Pass, dozens of vehicles were forced to turn around near the landslide area after encountering a checkpoint blocking the scene.

Notably, many tourists complained that the landslide had been going on for several days but the local authorities had not diverted traffic from afar, forcing vehicles traveling from the center of Da Lat to the scene, more than 30km away, to turn around and find another route. If choosing the route through Mimosa Pass or Prenn Pass, many people would have to travel an additional distance of nearly 100km.

At the scene, authorities banned all people and vehicles from passing through to ensure safety and have not yet announced the time when traffic will be allowed through D'ran Pass.

As reported by SGGP, on the evening of October 28, at the Km262+500 Suspension Bridge (section passing through Xuan Truong Ward), a serious landslide occurred. Some pine trees were uprooted and fell onto the road, posing a potential safety risk to people and vehicles. On October 29, landslides continued to occur at several other locations on National Highway 20, section passing through Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat.
