The Front must live with the people, do things for real - not for formality.

Each program and activity of the Front must bring practical benefits to the people, to each vulnerable group and specific community.

On October 30, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Hoi commune (HCMC) held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025-2030.

Attending and directing the congress were comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. Also attending were comrade Vo Ngoc Thanh Truc, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Chairman of the Vietnam Women's Union of Ho Chi Minh City.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Hoi commune has identified 10 specific targets, including two breakthroughs: improving the quality of the Front staff and promoting the application of technology, innovation, and digital transformation in Front activities. At the same time, focusing on effectively implementing social security programs, not leaving poor households and disadvantaged people behind; building Hoa Hoi commune to develop in the direction of "sustainability, civilization, and humanity".

Speaking at the congress, comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc acknowledged and commended the results achieved by the commune Fatherland Front in recent times, especially promoting the core political role in the great national unity bloc; implementing many emulation movements and practical campaigns; thereby receiving consensus and positive response from all classes of people.

In the new term, comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc requested the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to make efforts in advising the Party Committee so that the Front can deploy all areas of work, actively participate in building a clean Party, and build a strong and comprehensive government. In addition, closely coordinate with the government to participate in monitoring and promoting the implementation of a two-level local government model that is streamlined, efficient, effective, and efficient.

According to comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, the Fatherland Front needs to innovate its methods and diversify its forms of propaganda so that people can understand and see that all policies of the Party, laws of the State, policies of the City and localities are aimed at serving the people, leaving no one behind. Along with that, it is necessary to strengthen the implementation of democracy at the grassroots level so that "People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit". From there, society will be in consensus, people will be unanimous in implementing the policies of the Party, laws of the State, policies of the City and together enjoy the development process of the City and locality.

To do that, comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc emphasized the motto of "taking people as the center, subject, goal and driving force of innovation to implement goals and tasks". Accordingly, each program and activity of the Front must bring practical benefits to the people, to each vulnerable group and specific community.

He also stated that in the new term, all activities of the Front need to aim at three core criteria: contributing to enhancing the role and prestige of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; promoting socio- economic development, building a strong Party and local political system; and bringing practical benefits to the people.

On that basis, the Commune Fatherland Front needs to continue to innovate its methods of operation, promote the combined strength of the great national unity bloc, that is, solidarity between ethnic groups, religions, the military and the people and all classes of people; organize and implement the work of social supervision and criticism more deeply and effectively; organize dialogue forums between the government and the people in a substantive manner, aiming to better serve the representative function of the Front.

Along with that, the Fatherland Front of Hoa Hoi commune urgently, resolutely and disciplinedly implemented the action programs of the congress, promoted the strength of great national unity, took the people as the center and driving force for development, and brought the congress resolution into life in a practical and effective way. The commune continued to make efforts and strive to soon achieve the standards of a new rural commune, a model rural commune, and become a typical and advanced locality, associated with implementing the movement of "popular digital education" in the spirit of innovation and comprehensive digital transformation.

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc also emphasized the requirement to build a team of Front cadres with strong political will, exemplary ethics, professional expertise, and understanding of the area and technology. This is also a breakthrough of the Commune Fatherland Front in the 2025-2030 term.

The Congress elected 48 members to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Hoi commune for the 2025-2030 term and elected a Standing Committee of 5 members. Comrade Duong Tan Linh continues to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Hoi commune for the 2025-2030 term.
