On the evening of December 16th, the Human Act Prize 2025 Gala – an award for community action – was held at the Ho Guom Theater ( Hanoi ). The event aimed to honor outstanding projects, ideas, and community actions that have inspired dedication and perseverance in serving the community for a better future for all.

The Timely Project category at the Human Act Prize 2025 honored the Hope School Project, the "Light of Education" Program Project of the Hope Foundation -FPT Group, and the "GELEX Compassion - Creating Community Happiness" Project of GELEX Group. Each project demonstrates that a timely decision to act can unlock hope, illuminate knowledge, and spread happiness sustainably.

Driven by the urgent need to address the overwhelming workload faced by two leading medical centers (the Stroke Center and the A9 Emergency Center at Bach Mai Hospital), GELEX Group's project has promptly contributed to improving emergency care capacity, helping thousands of patients regain their lives each year.

The project is being implemented in two phases. In Phase 1 (from September 2023 to May 2024), GELEX Group fully funded the renovation of the Stroke Center. The project involved the construction of a new and expanded 3-story building with a total area of nearly 300 m², adding 10 modern hospital beds, thus expanding the capacity to receive and treat stroke patients.

In Phase 2 (August 2024 to October 2024), GELEX continued to fund the renovation of the A9 Emergency Center and the expansion of the Stroke Center's infrastructure, with a total area of over 8,000 m². Of this, the A9 Center area occupies approximately 6,000 m², comprising 20 patient rooms, functional areas, and a comprehensive system of technical equipment: lighting, ventilation, elevators, resuscitation rooms, patient rooms, corridors, etc.

Through two renovation projects, the A9 Emergency Center and the Stroke Center at Bach Mai Hospital have been transformed with modern medical equipment and facilities, and beautiful, comfortable patient rooms. The project reflects the aspiration to improve the quality of life and peace of mind for the people by creating a more spacious, modern, and comfortable treatment space, while also providing a positive and inspiring working environment for the medical staff.

Present on the red carpet of the event, Ms. Nguyen Hong Nhung, Director of Communications of GELEX Group (Representative of the Project), said: "I feel very happy to be here today - a meeting place for compassionate hearts. GELEX Group is very proud that the Project has been nominated in the Timely Project category. Through this project, we hope to contribute to building the future of the country and the happiness of the community."

The Human Act Prize 2025 is a national-level award held annually. From 160 projects, 27 were selected to participate in the 2025 Final Round. Each project representative presented, debated, and engaged in direct dialogue with the Judging Panel to select the best project in each category, and ultimately determine the top award for 2025.

Within the framework of this Award, in November 2025, when floods in Phu Yen left devastating consequences, the 116 Rescue Team (Project "Humanity in the Storm" - Inspirational Project Category) set out to assist the people. GELEX Group immediately provided 300 million VND to help the 116 Team have the resources to purchase rescue and relief equipment in a timely manner.

This connection and spread of influence shows that the Human Act Prize has opened a new path, allowing compassionate hearts and a spirit of commitment to choose to become part of community-oriented actions together.
