MB inaugurated "Kitchen of Love" in Kien Thiet commune

Leaders of Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Kien Thiet commune cut the ribbon to inaugurate the project.

Tien Thanh school, located in Nam Bo village, is one of the commune’s most disadvantaged areas with about 200 students, most of whom are ethnic minorities and poor households. Previously, due to the lack of a central kitchen, students had to eat at local homes or sit in makeshift classrooms. This caused many inconveniences, affecting teaching and learning as well as student health care.

The "Kitchen of Love" project, supported by MB with a total cost of 490 million VND, has practical significance, contributing to significantly improving the material conditions, better serving the work of nurturing and caring for students in difficult circumstances.

Representatives of the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank presented a refrigerator and a television to Tien Thanh school.

Also at the ceremony, the units presented many valuable gifts: Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) presented 1 refrigerator and 1 television to Tien Thanh School; Vietnam Modern Bank Limited presented 2 water purifiers and the Party Committee of MB Headquarters presented 20 scholarships to poor students who have overcome difficulties, to encourage their spirit of striving in studying.

Within the framework of the local social security program, the Youth Union of the MB Headquarters also organized the "100 Dong House" Awarding Ceremony in 2025 in Lang Lan village, Kien Thiet commune. This is an active activity in response to the "100 Dong House" initiative launched by the Military Youth Union.

Representative of Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank presented a symbolic sign to support funding for building a house for Ms. Hua Thi Khai, Lang Lan village.

The house worth 110 million VND was given to the family of Mrs. Hua Thi Khai, a family in difficult circumstances, whose husband had fought in Laos and the South, and was affected by the effects of Agent Orange. On this occasion, MB also gave a refrigerator and a water purifier, worth nearly 6 million VND, to the family.

The above meaningful activities demonstrate the deep concern and high social responsibility of MB Bank and local authorities, joining hands to contribute to better care for poor children and policy families in Kien Thiet commune.
