Focus on completing infrastructure of border economic zones

According to the Economic Zone Management Board (EZMB) of Tay Ninh province, the system of border gates facilitates cross-border trade of goods. The border gate EZs have been formed, gradually exploiting effectively the strengths and potential of labor, the location connecting with Cambodia and neighboring provinces with low investment costs and a favorable investment environment with many incentives.

In order to invest in completing the infrastructure of the border gate area, in the coming time, the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board will coordinate with units to focus on reviewing the general planning of border gate economic zones, adjusting accordingly to promote and improve the operational efficiency of border gate economic zones; closely coordinate with functional units in the area such as Border Guard, Police, Customs, Market Management, etc. in patrolling and controlling to prevent and promptly detect smuggling and illegal transportation of goods across the border, manage people, vehicles exiting and entering the country and exported and imported goods at the border gate.

In addition, the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board continues to coordinate well with departments, branches, and localities and regularly monitor and promptly grasp to resolve difficulties, problems, and recommendations of enterprises within its authority; report and propose to the Provincial People's Committee to ask for direction on issues beyond its authority; continue to exploit, update, and collect information on the situation of enterprises' export and import activities to quickly detect violations of customs laws. In addition, the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board also coordinates with local authorities to propagate policies and laws on customs, regulations on declaration when crossing the border to raise people's awareness in complying with the law./.
