In the morning at Tan Dong Primary School, the sound of reading lessons resounds from Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Kim Ngan's classroom. Among the rows of small desks and chairs, the teacher born in 1989 carefully guides the students through each stroke of the letter. The students are familiar with the image of a dedicated teacher who is devoted to her students. To her colleagues, she is a person who lives a simple, harmonious life; to her students, she is a second mother who is both strict and loving.

Not only dedicated to teaching, Ms. Ngan also actively participates in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Department of Education and the Commune Women's Union. As a Party member, she always demonstrates a high sense of responsibility, exemplary in completing professional tasks, and is trusted and loved by the School Board and colleagues. For many years, she has achieved the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level and Emulation Fighter at the provincial level; won first and second prizes in district-level excellent teacher competitions and is a member of the Provincial Professional Council for Primary English. She also actively participates in movements to innovate teaching methods launched by the Provincial Department of Education and Training, winning second and third prizes at the provincial level in the Interactive Lesson Plan Design Contest using Active Inspire software and provincial E-learning software (third prize). These efforts not only affirm her solid professional capacity but also demonstrate the spirit of continuous learning and creativity, always aiming to help students learn better and better.

As a member of the Women's Union of La Khoa Hamlet, Ms. Ngan is always active and takes the lead in the movement "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families" associated with the campaign "Building families of 5 no, 3 clean". After class hours, she often takes time with women's union members to participate in volunteer activities. Every year, she and her family mobilize to give more than 100 gifts to poor and near-poor households, lonely elderly people and children in difficult circumstances in the commune on holidays and Tet. "Helping others is not because I have a lot, but because I understand what it means to be in need" - Ms. Ngan shared.

Thanks to her prestige and sense of responsibility in social work, she has become a reliable "bridge" between kind-hearted people and people in difficult circumstances. In 2025, she represented the benefactors and coordinated with the Women's Union of Tan Tay commune to donate 20 million VND to support Mai Gia Han - a child with sepsis in special circumstances; at the same time, she donated 19.9 million VND to help Tran Quoc Hung, a man in difficult circumstances, suffering from a serious brain tumor. "If it weren't for Ms. Ngan's support, my family would not have been able to afford treatment. She not only gave money but also regularly visited and encouraged the family" - Ms. Le Thi Ha, Mr. Hung's mother, emotionally shared.

Previously, in 2022, Ms. Ngan also mobilized 16 million VND to support the construction of a "Warm House of Love" for Nguyen Thiet Hung, helping his family stabilize their housing. In addition, she also actively participated with members in many other social security activities such as giving hundreds of Tet gifts, giving bicycles and scholarships to poor but studious students, contributing to spreading the spirit of sharing in the community.

Few people know that behind that simplicity and gentle smile is a woman who has experienced many losses. Her husband died early due to a serious illness, and she raised two small children alone. However, she did not collapse but became stronger. Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, also President of the Women's Union of Tan Tay commune, Le Thi Yen Chuc, commented: "Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Kim Ngan is not only a person who "sows letters" on the podium but also a person who sows love in everyday life. She is the model of a modern Vietnamese woman: "Confident, self-respecting, loyal, and responsible". Despite difficult circumstances, she is still devoted to her work and always cares for others, especially those who are less fortunate."
