A section of Hue city remained submerged in floodwaters on the morning of October 28th.

According to the forecast of the Hue City Meteorological and Hydrological Station, from this morning, October 28th, to the morning of October 30th, the city will experience heavy to very heavy rain. The total rainfall in the plains will generally be 150-300mm, with some areas exceeding 400mm; in the mountainous areas, it will be 200-400mm, with some areas exceeding 600mm.

Over the next 12 hours, flood levels on the rivers will continue to recede slowly, but the Huong River will remain at a very high level, above Flood Level 3, while the Bo River will fluctuate around Flood Level 3. Over the following 12-24 hours, flood levels on the rivers will continue to recede slowly, with the Huong River falling to Flood Level 2 to Flood Level 3, and the Bo River above Flood Level 2 to Flood Level 3.

People on the north bank of the Perfume River hire boats for transportation at a cost of approximately 100,000 VND per kilometer per person.

In Loc An commune, 25 out of 29 villages are flooded, and local authorities and forces are making efforts to assist the people.

The Hoa Chau ward area is submerged in a vast expanse of water.

Several communes in the former Nam Dong district remain isolated due to severe landslides in many areas; authorities are working to clear the roads.

In Khe Tre commune, there were 19 landslides that caused one house to collapse and two houses to be severely damaged. Authorities have evacuated 354 people.
