Music video "What Could Be More Beautiful?" launched in Hanoi.

With its unexpected blend of Northern Vietnamese folk melodies like " Floating Water Lilies and Drifting Clouds ," the music video " What Could Be More Beautiful? ", Tom Chat's debut musical product, evokes national pride while touching the hearts of listeners with its pure and profound emotions.

Inspired by the film "Red Rain ," the song " What Could Be More Beautiful? " by musician and singer Nguyen Hung became a remarkable phenomenon. Just over two months after its release, the song spread rapidly across digital platforms, becoming a "melody of patriotism" among the younger generation.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai – representative of the production unit – shared: "For us, ' What Could Be More Beautiful? ' is not just a song. It is a tribute, a connection between the spirit of A80 – the proud 80th anniversary of our nation – and today. Through music, we want to convey our gratitude and pride for our country."

The music video was arranged and directed by musician Vu Quang Trung, who chose " Floating Water Lilies and Drifting Clouds " as the opening theme. According to him, incorporating Northern Vietnamese folk melodies not only creates a sense of familiarity but also tells a historical story through the language of music.

"I divided the song into three parts: the beginning depicts a peaceful countryside, followed by the spirit of fighting and sacrifice, and ending with peace and generational connection. Each note, each drum beat carries a layer of meaning – like a slice of national memory," Vu Quang Trung shared.

" What Could Be More Beautiful? " is performed by two vocalists, Trieu Hong Ngoc and Tran Tuan Hoa – two generations of artists with distinct styles. Hoa graduated from the Vietnam National Academy of Music and is known for his academic singing style, while Trieu Hong Ngoc – a familiar voice from the 2000s – possesses the powerful energy of pop-rock.

Singer Trieu Hong Ngoc shared that she was moved the first time she heard the song: "The lyrics brought tears to my eyes. When singing about war, I not only want to tell about the losses but also want to awaken faith – that love for our country helps us live more beautifully today."

Singer Tran Tuan Hoa was particularly impressed with composer Nguyen Hung and the song " What Could Be More Beautiful? ". When he accepted the invitation to participate in the cover project, he chose to listen to and perform the song with his own emotions, breath, and experiences, to tell the story through his voice in the most sincere way possible.

According to Tran Tuan Hoa, each artist has their own perspective, and for him, this version is the entire team's tribute to a period in the nation's history that was both tragic and heroic. He has heard many stories of the brutal war that those born in peacetime can hardly imagine. "The price of peace is the blood and bones of our ancestors, of those who silently sacrificed themselves so that we could have the life we have today," he said emotionally.
