Propaganda, consultation, dialogue on Social Insurance Law at enterprises

On October 28, the Provincial Social Insurance coordinated with the Department of Home Affairs to organize a conference to disseminate, consult and discuss the Social Insurance Law No. 41/2024/QH15 and the Social Insurance Law No. 51/2024/QH15 for 110 delegates who are employers, trade union officials, social insurance officials and employees of Hoa Loi Dat Vietnam Garment Company Limited (Cam Thinh Industrial Park, Cua Ong Ward).

At the conference, the reporters of the provincial Social Insurance and the Department of Home Affairs disseminated the basic contents and new points of the two laws, focusing on the regulations on contribution levels, benefits, participants, as well as the sick leave, maternity leave, retirement regimes and regulations on handling acts of evasion and late payment of social insurance; new contents on implementing the unemployment insurance policy according to the decrees and circulars guiding the implementation, including the rights and obligations of employees when participating in unemployment insurance, documents and procedures for receiving unemployment benefits, forms of vocational training support, free job counseling and referrals, etc.

During the dialogue, many practical questions were raised by delegates related to retirement regimes, maternity benefits, conditions for receiving one-time social insurance benefits, occupational accident benefits, accumulation of social insurance payment time when working at many enterprises, procedures for participating in voluntary social insurance, unemployment benefit period and vocational training support policies during unemployment...

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hanh, worker of Garment Workshop 1, Hoa Loi Dat Vietnam Garment Company Limited (Cua Ong Ward) raised questions about the unemployment insurance regime.

Some opinions also reflected difficulties when using the VssID application to look up the process of participating in social insurance. All of these contents were directly answered specifically and clearly by the leaders of the provincial Social Insurance and the Department of Home Affairs, helping delegates to understand correctly, grasp the regulations and properly exercise their rights and obligations when working at the enterprise.

The conference on propaganda, consultation and dialogue on social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance policies is one of the practical activities within the Project "Developing labor relations in Quang Ninh province, period 2021-2025" deployed and implemented by the provincial Social Insurance in coordination with the Department of Home Affairs.
