Rescue the man swept away by the flood.

On the evening of October 28, Mr. Mai Thanh Sang, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nha commune (Da Nang city), said that a resident who was swept away by the flood during the night had been rescued in time.

Earlier that evening, a video was posted on Facebook showing a man being swept away by floodwaters beneath the Ha Nha bridge in Ha Nha commune ( Da Nang city).

This man was lucky enough to cling to a utility pole. Despite the raging floodwaters of the Vu Gia River, he managed to hold on to the pole. On the Ha Nha bridge, many people shouted for help, urging those in boats to come to his rescue, while also encouraging the man in distress to hold on.

Then, the two men rowed out to rescue him, bringing the victim to safety. The man, after struggling in the floodwaters, was completely exhausted.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nha commune said that the person swept away by the flood was Mr. Luong H. (residing in Ngoc Kinh Dong village, Ha Nha commune). At 6:30 PM on the same day, Mr. H. was rowing his boat to check on his cows at the farm when the boat suddenly capsized. A local resident driving by noticed and called for help.
