Propaganda, consultation, policy dialogue on social insurance and health insurance

On the morning of October 23, Lao Cai Provincial Social Insurance coordinated with Nam Thanh Environment and Energy Joint Stock Company to organize a conference to disseminate, consult, and discuss social insurance and health insurance policies and new contents of the Social Insurance Law No. 41/2024/QH15, Health Insurance Law No. 51/2024/QH15 for over 200 workers and employees of the Company.

Representatives of Lao Cai Provincial Social Insurance informed employees about the new points of the Social Insurance Law and the Health Insurance Law in 2024.

At the conference, representatives of Lao Cai Provincial Social Insurance informed employees about new points about participants; rights, benefits, responsibilities of participants, agencies, organizations, enterprises, regulations on handling late payment, evasion of payment of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance policies effective from January 1, 2026. Professional staff of the Provincial Social Insurance also directly consulted and answered questions for businesses and employees.

Employees of Nam Thanh Environment and Energy Joint Stock Company attended the conference.

Through the conference, employers better understand their responsibilities and obligations in participating in social insurance and health insurance for employees, and more fully recognize the role and value of social security policies in maintaining stable production and sustainable business development.

This is also an opportunity for employees to update information on benefits, contribution and benefit levels and new regulations related to social insurance and health insurance, thereby proactively participating and protecting themselves and their families from risks in life.
