(DN) - The Chairman of the People's Committee of communes and wards is issued a decision to exempt or reduce land use fees within the land allocation limit when the State allocates residential land, changes the land use purpose to residential land, recognizes the right to use residential land, and when purchasing State-owned houses for people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs in the management area.

To carry out this task, the Chairman of the People's Committee of the communes and wards directs the Economic Department (or the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department) to coordinate with the Department of Culture - Society, other specialized departments and tax authorities to verify, advise on approval, and implement the exemption and reduction of land use fees for people with meritorious services to the revolution and relatives of martyrs according to regulations. Issue decisions allowing exemption and reduction of land use fees for people with meritorious services to the revolution and relatives of martyrs.

At the same time, periodically report to the Provincial People's Committee on the results of the exemption and reduction of land use fees for people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives before December 31 every year. During the implementation process, if there are any difficulties or problems, report to the Provincial People's Committee to direct specialized agencies to advise on solutions.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned departments and branches to support communes in performing this task.

The authorization for the commune level to perform this task takes effect from October 22, 2025 according to Decision No. 1813/QD-UBND of the Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee.
