Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Trong Tien, Deputy Head of the Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Nai province, said: Dong Nai is one of the leading localities in the country in industrial development and attracting foreign investment. Up to now, the province has established 57 industrial parks, 1 Hoa Lu economic zone, 1 high-tech zone. According to the plan, by 2030, the province will have 81 industrial parks, 1 high-tech zone, 1 economic zone.

The province has attracted 45 countries and territories to invest in more than 2,700 projects, including more than 1,900 foreign-invested projects. Many industrial parks are being oriented to transform into ecological and green industrial park models, in accordance with international standards and requirements for sustainable development.

In addition, the province is implementing many projects and plans with the following goals: Reducing carbon emissions to net zero by 2050, building a green - circular - smart industrial park model, and increasing the attraction of high-tech and environmentally friendly investment projects. Therefore, cooperation and experience exchange with localities and organizations with strengths in environmental technology such as Nghi Hung city is very practical.

The Deputy Head of the Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Nai province believes that this visit will open up opportunities for cooperation in research, transfer and application of environmental technology. Enhance the exchange of experiences in building emission standards and operating industrial park environmental infrastructure. Create a premise for enterprises in the association to learn about investment in industrial parks in Dong Nai, especially in the fields of green industry, environmental technology, waste treatment, energy-saving equipment, and digital transformation in environmental management.

The province's general policy towards investors, especially investors with modern technology, suitable for priority industries to attract investment, is to create favorable conditions for investment procedures, land, industrial park infrastructure; prioritize land funds and support policies for projects with high technology content, green technology; support connections between associations and management agencies, industrial parks, and enterprises in the province; encourage cooperation in research and technology transfer in the fields of environmental treatment, waste circulation, and energy saving. Dong Nai believes that through the working session, the two sides will better understand the needs and potential for cooperation, thereby opening up many new opportunities for cooperation in the coming time.

Sharing at the meeting, Mr. Tuong Tu Hau, Chairman of the Green and Low Carbon Technology Association of Nghi Hung City, assessed that Vietnam's economy has grown strongly in recent years, the business environment has been increasingly improved, especially the demand in the environmental protection industry has increased rapidly, bringing many development opportunities for businesses in the association.

The Nghi Hung City Green and Low Carbon Industry Association currently has more than 300 member enterprises, including many leading enterprises in many different environmental industries and fields. The purpose of this visit of the association is to explore investment opportunities in Vietnam and hopes to cooperate with partners in Dong Nai on the basis of mutual benefit.

The Association hopes to receive support from the province in establishing long-term cooperative relationships with excellent and capable local businesses. Through cooperation in capital, technology, management and other areas, contribute to Vietnam achieving net zero by 2050.
