Quang Ngai leads the South Central Coast - Central Highlands region in growth by 2025.

In 2025, the total product in Quang Ngai province (GRDP) is estimated to reach more than 92 trillion VND, an increase of 10.02%, ranking 1st out of 6 provinces and cities in the South Central and Central Highlands regions; ranking 6th out of 34 provinces and cities nationwide (after Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho and Bac Ninh ). Total social investment capital in the province is estimated to reach more than 82 trillion VND, an increase of 14.7% of the plan.

Quang Ngai province has done a good job in social security, completed the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses; poverty reduction has achieved positive results; national defense and security have been maintained; political security, order and social safety have been ensured.
