Speaking at the opening of the session, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Vinh Tuy Ward Nguyen Quang Trung emphasized that the third session is of great importance to review and evaluate the implementation of tasks over the past year and decide on key issues for the ward's development in the coming year.

The resolutions of the People's Council at this Session will be an important legal basis for the Ward People's Committee to direct and organize the implementation of socio -economic development tasks to ensure social security and people's lives in 2026.

At the meeting, delegates of Vinh Tuy Ward People's Council focused on reviewing, discussing and deciding on the main contents: reports of the Ward People's Committee on the results of implementing socio-economic development tasks, security and defense in 2025 and resolutions on the Socio-economic Development Plan in 2026; report on the results of activities in 2025 and directions and tasks in 2026 of the Standing Committee of the Ward People's Council...

The Ward People's Council also reviewed the Reports and approved important draft Resolutions, with 100% of delegates attending the Session in agreement, on the following contents: finance - budget and public investment (results of implementing the 2025 budget estimate, local budget estimate and allocation of the ward budget in 2026); results of implementing the 2025 public investment plan and the 2026 public investment plan; allocation of staffing targets, labor unions of specialized agencies, public service units and the Ward People's Committee in 2026.

Notably, at the Session, the Ward People's Council considered and approved the Resolution on the Supervisory Program of the Provisional People's Council for the 2021-2026 term on the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term in Vinh Tuy Ward - an important political content, creating a premise for major political events of the country and locality in the coming time.

Accordingly, in 2026, the Ward People's Council will monitor the implementation of legal regulations on the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term in the ward; supervision by the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the People's Council Committees, the Delegation Groups and the Ward People's Council deputies.

In 2025, after 6 months of operating under the 2-level local government model, Vinh Tuy ward has achieved many positive and comprehensive results. Notably, the socio-economic development targets all achieved positive results, the ward is expected to complete 13/13 socio-economic development targets in 2025. The economy maintained good growth momentum. Budget revenue achieved positive results. Budget management was tight and flexible, ensuring effective allocation and use of resources.

The ward government is also proactive and creative in administrative reform and digital transformation, moving towards a modern, transparent, people- and business-centered administration. Urban, resource and environmental management has been strengthened, creating positive changes; political security and social order and safety have been maintained. The fields of education, health, social culture and social security have continued to be maintained, achieving many remarkable results.

In 2026, the Ward People's Committee identified 4 groups of socio-economic development targets to submit to the Ward People's Council for approval, specifically in the fields of economy, socio-culture, planning - urban and environment, and national defense and security. At the same time, it proposed 9 groups of tasks and key solutions to implement on 9 aspects of work to achieve development goals and targets.

Speaking at the closing session, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Tuy Ward, Vu Van Hoat, affirmed that the results achieved in 2025 were the efforts of the entire political system, the consensus of the people and the business community in the ward.

Faced with increasingly high demands in the new period, the collective People's Committee of Vinh Tuy Ward is determined to continue to innovate, act decisively, transparently, responsibly, wholeheartedly serve the people; be proactive and creative in management; strive to complete and over-complete the tasks of 2026.
