Hong Ha Ward: Ensuring the progress of Tran Hung Dao Bridge project, Tu Lien, Red River Landscape Avenue

HNP - On December 8, the People's Council of Hong Ha ward, term I, 2021-2026, held the third session to review and resolve many important contents under its authority.

In the first year of implementing the two-level local government model, the ward's economy continued to maintain growth momentum with an increase of 7%; budget revenue was estimated at nearly 75.4 billion VND, equal to 101% of the estimate; budget expenditure completed 100% of the target assigned by the City.

The disbursement of public investment capital reached 261 billion VND, equivalent to 100% of the plan. Two key projects of the capital in the area, Tu Lien bridge and Tran Hung Dao bridge, continued to be focused on implementation to ensure progress. The management of construction order, urban order, and environmental sanitation was strengthened with many drastic measures; hundreds of violations were handled, many hot spots of urban order were thoroughly handled.

The socio-cultural field recorded many outstanding results, from physical training and sports activities to people's health care, ensuring social security policies and managing relics and festivals. The entire ward has spent nearly 1.9 billion VND to support policy beneficiaries, meritorious people and people in difficult circumstances.

Ward People's Council delegates questioned 6 issues of interest to voters and people.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and voted to pass the Resolution on the 2026 socio-economic development plan with 7 targets and 9 key task groups.

Within the framework of the meeting, there was also a question-and-answer session on 6 contents of interest to voters and people, including: Budget revenue and expenditure, progress of disbursement of public investment capital, management of real estate and public assets after the merger, violations of urban order, environmental sanitation, fire prevention and fighting, and payroll management.

In his closing speech, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hong Ha Ward Bui Tuan Anh emphasized that the goal of 2026 is the year of acceleration and innovation, so departments, offices and units urgently develop specific plans to immediately implement the resolutions of the People's Council of the Ward with the highest determination, fastest and most effective. Thereby, properly implementing the direction of the Central Government and the City, especially the economic growth target, achieving double-digit growth from 2026 and the entire period of 2026-2031; continuing to perfect the organizational apparatus, promoting the application of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; developing culture, education and training; social security, ensuring the progress of major projects in the area (Tran Hung Dao Bridge project, Tu Lien Bridge, Red River Landscape Avenue) so that the ward can firmly develop rapidly and sustainably.
