Help the unemployed find jobs

In the first 9 months of 2025, the Provincial Employment Service Center received 23,237 applications for unemployment insurance policies, of which 13,839 people from other localities applied for unemployment benefits. The Center resolved the decisions to receive monthly unemployment insurance benefits for 22,320 people; 246 people had their unemployment benefits decisions canceled. The average unemployment benefit level is 3.8 million VND/month. The Center organized job counseling and referrals for 107,714 people, and issued 610 decisions to support vocational training for workers receiving unemployment insurance.

Director of the Provincial Employment Service Center Nguyen Phi Hung said that the center pays special attention to consulting, job introduction and vocational skills training for workers; regularly contacts and consults via the hotline for workers, students and graduates to create a timely labor source for companies associated with the center to work in and outside the province, especially in Phu Quoc special economic zone and companies with the function of sending workers to work abroad for a limited period under contract. The center coordinates with the People's Committees of communes, wards and special economic zones to develop a plan to organize a consulting and job introduction day, and a consulting cluster (point) for workers who are looking for jobs.

In October 2025, the center provided job counseling to 2,496 workers, introduced jobs to 1,456 workers, and employed 230 workers. The center focused on consulting on sending workers to work abroad under contracts. The center actively guided workers in orientation education , exit procedures, and loan applications, through which 10 workers went abroad to work in Korea and Japan.

The Provincial Employment Service Center collects and stores recruitment information of 205 businesses; stores information of nearly 6,648 people; regularly monitors labor market information and updates information on the center's electronic information portals. The center updates and guides businesses to post recruitment of Vietnamese workers for positions expected to use foreign workers on the center's electronic information page. As a result, 27 businesses posted recruitment for 27 positions, recruiting 27 people.

According to Mr. Nguyen Phi Hung, the center continues to receive and return the results of unemployment insurance applications in a timely manner in accordance with the law; promote consulting, job referrals and vocational training for workers receiving unemployment insurance, especially consulting for workers going to work for a limited period of time in foreign countries such as Japan, Taiwan (China), and South Korea under contract.

The center's representative offices are actively reviewing and making a list of workers of unemployment insurance age who are looking for jobs to advise and provide to businesses that need to recruit workers. At the same time, they continue to contact businesses to grasp the labor recruitment needs; support and guide workers in loan procedures and non-refundable support costs.

In the coming time, the center will continue to cooperate with vocational training institutions to open vocational training classes for workers receiving unemployment insurance benefits right at the center. At the same time, it will step up propaganda and raise awareness among workers that unemployment benefits are only temporary during the time of job hunting, workers should proactively participate in vocational training courses to improve their vocational skills to help them find new jobs and have a stable life.
