Total construction output of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project reached more than 6 trillion VND

Of which, Component Project 3 (through Ho Chi Minh City) with the People's Committee of the former Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, now Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee as the managing agency has the highest value of completed construction output reaching more than 1.6 trillion VND, reaching 97% of the value of the signed contract. Component Project 2 (section through Dong Nai province) with the Ministry of Transport - now the Ministry of Construction as the managing agency has the total completed construction output reaching more than 2.9 trillion VND, reaching 70% of the value of the signed contract. Component Project 1 (through Dong Nai province) with the People's Committee of Dong Nai province as the managing agency has the value of completed output reaching nearly 1.5 trillion VND, reaching 58% of the value of the signed contract.

Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway has a total length of nearly 54km, passing through Dong Nai province and Ho Chi Minh City. Of which, the section passing through Dong Nai province is more than 34km long, the section passing through Ho Chi Minh City is more than 19km long.

In phase 1, the project is invested with a scale of 4-6 lanes for each route section. Specifically, section 1 from the starting point of the project (connecting with the National Highway 1 bypass, Phuoc Tan ward, Dong Nai province) to Long Thanh intersection and section 3 from Tan Hiep intersection to the end point of the project (intersection with National Highway 56, Ho Chi Minh City) is invested with a scale of 4 expressway lanes, roadbed width of 24.75m. Section 2, from Long Thanh intersection to Tan Hiep intersection is invested with a scale of 6 expressway lanes, roadbed width of 32.25m. The total investment in phase 1 of the project is nearly 18 trillion VND.

The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project is divided into 3 component projects. Component Project 1 (from Km0+00 - Km16+00), with a length of about 16km, passing through Dong Nai province, is managed by the People's Committee of Dong Nai province; Component Project 2 (from Km16+00 - Km34+200), with a length of more than 18km through Dong Nai province, is managed by the Ministry of Transport, now the Ministry of Construction; Component Project 3 (from Km34+200 - Km53+700), with a length of more than 19km through Ho Chi Minh City, is managed by the People's Committee of the former Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, now the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

During the completion phase, the project will be expanded to ensure a scale of 6-8 expressway lanes.
