Earlier, in the early morning of October 28th, rising floodwaters from the Luỹ River caused severe flooding on a section of National Highway 1A near Ông Vạc Bridge in Lương Sơn commune. The flooded area stretched for approximately 100 meters and was about half a meter deep, temporarily cutting off traffic in both directions. Immediately after the incident, traffic police and the Road Management Office IV.1 deployed officers to coordinate traffic control in the flooded area. The Traffic Police Department of Lâm Đồng Province also dispatched personnel to guide long-distance drivers to turn around and use the Vĩnh Hảo - Phan Thiết expressway as an alternative route.

At the same time, the rising water level of the Luỹ River caused flooding in several areas of Song Luỹ commune. Specifically, at 1:40 AM on October 28th, in Suối Nhuôm village, approximately 25 households were flooded to a depth of 0.8-1.5 meters. The commune authorities proactively mobilized military forces, police, and other relevant agencies to assist residents in relocating people, livestock, poultry, and property to safe areas.

Regarding the landslide on National Highway 28B, specifically the section through Dai Ninh Pass (Phan Son commune), the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police announced that the landslide site has been cleared and traffic has resumed normally since the morning of October 28th.

Earlier, on the evening of October 27th, due to prolonged heavy rain, a serious landslide occurred at Km45+500 on National Highway 28B, in the Dai Ninh pass section of Phan Son commune. A large amount of soil, rocks, and vegetation collapsed, covering the road surface for about 30 meters. Cars and motorbikes were unable to pass through the landslide area, resulting in long queues.

Authorities, including the Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police), Project Management Board No. 5 - Vietnam Road Administration, along with the police and militia of Phan Son and Ta Hine communes, mobilized vehicles to clear and repair the landslide site.
