Ethnic Minority Cultural Festival in Son Hoa Commune

On the afternoon of December 12th, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, in coordination with Son Hoa Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School, inaugurated the 2025 Ethnic Minority Cultural Festival, combined with the dissemination and education of law. Ms. Nay H'Nan, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, attended the event.

Accordingly, on December 12-13, the festival featured many diverse activities, contributing to preserving traditional identity, enhancing life skills, and improving legal knowledge for students.

The programs include: Law Propaganda Team Festival, Arts and Traditional Costume Show of Ethnic Minorities, and Gong Culture and Xoang-Arap Dance Competition.

Ms. Nay H'Nan, Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of the province, delivered a speech at the festival.

In addition, the program includes a campsite building competition, a display of ethnic cultural products; a culinary competition; and a career guidance competition.

The evening activities created a vibrant atmosphere with an entertaining gala, a group performance of "Continuing the Story of Peace ," a group cha-cha dance, a bonfire, and more.

The festival also featured many sporting activities such as land-based rowing competitions, time wheel games, and sack race relays; crossbow shooting competitions, stick pushing competitions, and especially the "Ringing the Golden Bell" quiz testing knowledge of ethnic culture, legal knowledge, and life skills…

Students participate in the Gong and Xoang-Arap dance cultural competition.

On this occasion, the program awarded 9 gifts to students from disadvantaged backgrounds at the school.
