Following the direction of the Hanoi People's Committee, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade is in charge of organizing the fair and has assigned the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion to implement it. This year, Made in Vietnam is organized into two phases to increase market coverage: Phase 1 from December 11-15 at Hoa Binh Park; Phase 2 from December 18-22 at the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center (489 Hoang Quoc Viet). This approach helps to expand the visitor base and extend the market connection chain during the peak shopping month.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Anh Duong – Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade – emphasized the strong growth of Vietnam's national brand, from US$203 billion in 2017 to US$507 billion in 2024, ranking 33rd globally. He stated that the event is an opportunity for local businesses to introduce their products, reach consumers, and improve quality towards the goal of having 1,000 products meet national brand standards by 2030. He cited companies such as VinFast, Viettel,FPT , and Vinamilk as successful models demonstrating Vietnam's competitiveness on the international stage.

A highlight of Made in Vietnam 2025 is the convergence of nearly 300 booths and approximately 100 businesses and cooperatives from 15 provinces and cities. The product categories range from regional specialties, OCOP products, handicrafts to textiles, leather goods, processed foods, and fashion accessories. Consumers can find specialties such as Ca Mau crab, Nha Trang bird's nest, Hanoi sticky rice flakes, Nghe An beef sausage, Thanh Hoa fermented pork sausage, along with many handicraft products such as Ha Thai lacquerware, Phu Xuyen wood carvings, and My Duc embroidery. This is an opportunity for localities to promote their unique cultural characteristics through products, while also opening up distribution channels for businesses.

The fair space was divided into functional areas: a featured products area, a food area, a regional culture area, and a business networking area. Many businesses introduced new products, enhanced demonstrations of production processes, packaging designs, and brand stories to impress visitors. The combination of commerce with cultural and culinary experiences helped the fair attract a large number of locals and tourists, especially in the context of increased consumer demand at the end of the year.
Made in Vietnam 2025 also serves as a forum connecting businesses with distribution systems. Retailers, supermarkets, and convenience store chains visited to survey and seek stable sources of goods. Many industry associations assessed the fair as having high networking potential, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in expanding their distribution channels and increasing opportunities for signing cooperation agreements for 2026.

One of the key objectives of the fair is to raise consumer awareness of the quality of Vietnamese goods. Participating products emphasize transparency in origin, production standards, and commitment to safety and environmental friendliness. This is also a continuation of the "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" campaign, creating conditions for domestic goods to compete fairly with imported products.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Anh Duong expressed his hope that Made in Vietnam 2025 would create momentum for domestic consumption, strengthen consumer confidence, and elevate Vietnamese brands. He called on businesses to bring their best products to the fair and invited Hanoi residents to actively visit and shop to jointly support Vietnamese businesses in increasing production value.
With meticulous preparation, diverse content, and two consecutive events, Made in Vietnam 2025 is expected to become a "demand-stimulating highlight" for the year-end market. The fair contributes to spreading the identity of Vietnamese goods, affirming the creative capacity of businesses, and creating a launching pad for local products to reach further in the context of increasingly fierce competition in the retail and e-commerce industries.
The fair will be open from December 11-15 at Hoa Binh Park, with the opening ceremony at 7 PM on December 12; the second phase will be held from December 18-22 at 489 Hoang Quoc Viet. This is an opportunity for Hanoi residents to support Vietnamese products, domestic businesses, and contribute to spreading the value of domestic production during the busiest time of the year.
