It is forecasted that in early November, pepper prices will likely remain stable or increase slightly within the range of 0 - 5% compared to the end of October. If supply continues to be scarce, the increase may exceed expectations. If a large quantity of goods appears or there are signs of cooling from international exchanges, pepper prices may decrease slightly.
In the long term, the pepper market is still positively assessed as Vietnam continues to be the world's largest exporter. This position helps Vietnam have the ability to strongly influence global supply and demand and maintain stable prices for farmers and businesses.
Factors such as climate change, rising production costs and recovering global consumer demand are also driving pepper prices to remain high. Many major growing regions around the world have been affected by extreme weather, causing output to decline.
Pepper prices are forecast to remain positive in the final months of the year. Limited supply and rising demand will help the market remain stable, creating favorable opportunities for Vietnamese growers and exporters.
