The training course took place over 2 days (from October 29 to 30) with the participation of more than 50 delegates representing enterprises producing and processing seafood, agricultural products and food, which are key economic sectors of the locality.

More than 50 students attended the training course on Halal standards and certification.

During the program, trainees were introduced to an overview of the Halal standards system, assessment and certification processes, the role of certification bodies, and related legal regulations in Vietnam and internationally. In particular, the training content focused on disseminating and guiding the application of national Halal standards for processed seafood and agricultural products. Experts shared methods for applying Halal standards to production processes, building certification records and internal assessments according to the requirements of the Halal management system.

Along with the theory part, students also participate in discussions and practice approaching the process of applying Halal standards in a typical manufacturing industry. Thereby, helping businesses better understand each implementation step, technical requirements as well as the necessary documents to be granted certification.
