Ca Mau shines at the 2025 Autumn Fair

The 1st Autumn Fair/2025 is taking place at Kim Quy Exhibition House (Hanoi) with a scale of nearly 3,000 booths, a national trade event, gathering the economic and cultural quintessence of regions across the country.

Participating in the Fair in the "Thu Dat Viet" subdivision, Ca Mau booth stood out with the theme "Ca Mau - Forest scent, sea taste" and "Ca Mau - Southernmost land of the Fatherland", expressing the unique identity of the southernmost land.

On an exhibition area of ​​200 m², Ca Mau introduced more than 100 typical, distinctive and OCOP products of 26 enterprises, cooperatives and production facilities. In particular, the main seafood group including shrimp, crab and processed products - the leading strength of the province - stood out.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Chi Nguyen said that participating in the fair is an opportunity for businesses and cooperatives to promote products, expand markets, connect trade, attract investment and transfer technology; at the same time, spread the cultural, culinary and eco-tourism values ​​of Ca Mau.

The province's exhibition space is highly appreciated for its professionalism and creativity, highlighted by symbolic miniatures such as Ca Mau Cape, national coordinate landmark, Ca Mau crab model, wind power field, and freshwater ecosystem. The province also promotes the 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival in 2025, creating a vivid highlight.

During the inspection of the event activities, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son, Head of the Fair Steering Committee, highly appreciated the preparation work and beautiful and diverse product designs of the Ca Mau booth.

Positive signals from product connection and consumption

After only the first three days (October 26-28), Ca Mau's booth at the 2025 Autumn Fair recorded many positive results, showing clear effectiveness in trade promotion and local product promotion.

During this time, the booth welcomed about 22,000 visitors and shoppers, with a total estimated revenue of 670 million VND. On the opening day alone (October 26), the number of visitors reached more than 10,000, the highest revenue - 300 million VND, and recorded the first commercial contract between Thuy Luc Facility (An Xuyen Ward) and Le Phuong Import Export Company (Ha Tinh).

In the following days, in addition to maintaining a stable number of customers and revenue, intensive trade promotion activities were promoted. Notably, on October 28, Ca Mau units such as Ba Khia Dam Doi Cooperative, Quach Tet Company, and Huong Rung Ecological Agriculture Cooperative successfully connected with major distribution systems including Central Retail Vietnam and Aeon Vietnam, and established many other potential trade cooperation agreements.

Many businesses have also opened up the export of products to the Chinese market through e-commerce platforms such as Taobao, 1688 and Douyin. Ca Mau's key products - dried shrimp, shrimp crackers, dried fish, frozen shrimp, bird's nest, are continuously among the top-selling products at the Fair.

The unit with the leading revenue is Ngoc Giau Seafood Production and Trading Company Limited, reaching nearly 200 million VND, contributing to highlighting the brand "Ca Mau - Forest scent, sea taste" in the national fair space.

From promotion to upgrading production capacity

The fair not only opens up business opportunities but also encourages production facilities to improve capacity and standardize processes to meet new market demands.

Thuy Luc facility, with its 4-star OCOP fish sauce beef product, is investing in additional equipment and expanding its production scale to serve new partners. Many other cooperatives and businesses such as Huong Rung Cooperative and Ngoc Giau Company have also signed a series of long-term consumption cooperation agreements with businesses in Hanoi and the North.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Ca Mau province, the 2025 Autumn Fair is an important opportunity to expand the trade network, connect large distribution systems and investors, and contribute to enhancing the brand of local goods.

The close coordination between the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Department of Agriculture and Environment has helped ensure product quality and traceability, creating trust for consumers and partners.

The initial success at the 2025 Autumn Fair not only brings economic efficiency but is also an important step in the journey to affirm the brand of Ca Mau - a land that converges the typical values ​​of "Forest scent - Sea taste", contributing to promoting sustainable economic development and promoting the local image far and wide.
