117 construction sites of the Ho Chi Minh road project, Rach Soi - Ben Nhut, Go Quao - Vinh Thuan sections

On October 29, the leader of the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board (Ministry of Construction) said that the current Ho Chi Minh Road construction investment project, Rach Soi - Ben Nhat section, Go Quao - Vinh Thuan (An Giang province and Ca Mau province), has accumulated output of about 1,439.5 billion VND, reaching 51.4% of the plan.

The unit said the above project is divided into 2 construction packages. There are currently 117 construction sites (41 bridge sites, 76 road sites).

The number of mobilized machinery and equipment includes 7 concrete stations, 9 bored pile drilling lines and 20 barges, 6 D600 pile driving lines, 68 excavators, 15 wicking machines, 4 CDM pile construction machines, 52 cranes, 16 mixer trucks, 10 generators, 4 3-phase power stations, 18 total stations, levels, etc.

The total number of construction personnel for the project is 383, including 48 engineers. Currently, the contractor is implementing the construction of the substructure of 21 bridges, implementing the site clearance, gathering equipment, materials and temporary bridges for 3 bridges. The road areas that have been handed over the site and can be accessed for construction are implementing the roadbed sand filling and installing absorbent wicks and loading.

The Ho Chi Minh Road construction investment project, Rach Soi - Ben Nhut, Go Quao - Vinh Thuan section, has a total route length of 51.94km; of which the route through An Giang province is about 45.27km, and through Ca Mau province is about 6.67km. There are 25 bridges on the route, with a total length of 3.187km.

Total project investment is 3,904,072 billion VND. Scale of grade III plain road, 4 lanes, design speed 80km/h. Expected completion date is December 31, 2025.

The unit is speeding up construction progress and coordinating with the People's Committee of An Giang province and related units to remove difficulties so that the construction project can ensure the set progress.
