Born into a family with a tradition of raising pigs, from a young age, Mr. Duong was familiar with raising pigs with his mother. After getting married, in addition to teaching hours, he not only took care of his elderly mother, but also determined to expand the scale of the farm to develop the economy .

In 2018, he boldly invested in building solid barns, applying bio-safety farming techniques. Up to now, his farm regularly maintains more than 10 sows and over 100 pigs for meat, which are purchased by traders.

Mr. Tran Minh Duong shared: “Raising livestock requires perseverance, not being discouraged when facing difficulties. The most important thing in raising livestock is to keep the barn clean and proactively prevent diseases for the pigs. I take advantage of locally available food sources, combining probiotics to reduce odors and save costs. From a few initial pigs, I gradually accumulated and invested until now I have a stable herd of pigs, bringing a good income for the family."

After class, Mr. Tran Minh Duong is busy taking care of the barn, a job he has been doing for many years.

Every day, after finishing his teaching job, Mr. Duong returns to the barn. He manages every step from cleaning, feeding to monitoring the pigs. He balances the two seemingly different rhythms of life: the podium and the barn with a sense of responsibility and love for work.

Not only does it stabilize the family economy, the fruits of his labor also bring him happiness when he has the conditions to support his elderly mother and take care of his children. For Mrs. Phan Thi Ken, 89 years old this year, her son Tran Minh Duong is her pride. Mrs. Ken emotionally said: "I am very happy, happy because my son has ambition, has a decent job, is both a teacher and a good businessman, loves his wife and children, is filial to his elderly mother... that alone makes me happy enough."

For Mr. Tran Minh Duong, the greatest happiness is taking care of and supporting his old mother every day .

Evaluating the livestock model of teacher Duong, Mr. Dang Hoang Sum, Deputy Head of Nguyen Hue Hamlet , Bien Bach Commune, commented: "Teacher Duong is a rare example. Teaching is already very hard, but he is not afraid of difficulties, going to class during the day and taking care of the barn and pigs in the afternoon.
