At the support handover ceremony, representatives of the Provincial Red Cross Association kindly inquired about the health and lives of the families, encouraged them to overcome adversity, and expressed their hope that the support money would help to share difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Mr. Le Quoc Van, Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society, presented support money to the representative of Mr. Le Van Dung's family.

It is known that Mr. Le Van Dung is currently suffering from lung disease and malignant cancer. Previously, he worked as a construction worker, a hard job but the main source of income for the whole family. Since he got sick, he has completely lost the ability to work, the burden of making a living has fallen on his wife, who has to wash dishes for hire to take care of 4 small children. The family is in dire straits.

Nguyen Duy Khanh, a 6th grade student at Vo Thi Sau Secondary School ( Bac Lieu Ward), is an orphan. His father passed away from cancer in October 2024. Khanh currently lives with his grandfather who is old, weak, and no longer able to work. The lives of the two grandparents depend entirely on the care and support of the neighbors.

Mr. Le Quoc Van, Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society, presented support money to Nguyen Duy Khanh and his grandson.

In addition to the 10 million VND support, to further motivate and create conditions for Khanh to continue studying, the Provincial Red Cross also provides monthly support for a year from the Thien Tam Fund. After this period, the Association will continue to survey to find a more suitable direction for support.
