In the context of the need for innovation in their work, the Youth Union and Children's Union officials not only organize activities but also inspire, teach, and accompany children. They play a crucial role in guiding and nurturing beautiful ideals and a sense of responsibility in the younger generation.

Forming a strong successor generation.

Following the organizational merger aimed at streamlining the apparatus, the Youth Union and Student Association faced numerous challenges regarding structure, tasks, and operational methods. However, this also served as a "test" to help units refine their models, clearly define functions, strengthen their teams, and innovate activities towards digitalization, experiential learning, and modernization; while simultaneously enhancing socialization and building movements based on the needs and active participation of students.

Mr. Tran Dang Khoa, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said: "In recent times, the Provincial Youth Union has paid special attention to and focused on training and improving the capacity of the Youth Union and Youth Association officials to be capable, courageous, and responsible, truly serving as a nucleus of unity and an inspiration for young people. The Youth Union and Youth Association officials are not only equipped with additional knowledge and professional skills, but also have the opportunity to interact, learn, and hone their character, thereby forming a strong successor generation, continuing the tradition, inheriting and developing the enthusiasm and experience of previous Youth Union and Youth Association officials."

Children learn skills and have fun in a team-based environment.

Every year, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee organizes many training activities, workshops, and competitions such as: training on professional skills for Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers' Organization work and certification of provincial-level trainers; training to improve skills and expertise for Youth Union and Youth Association officials; the "Journey of the Pink Scarf for Younger Generation" program; and the "Excellent Teacher in Charge of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers' Organization" competition. In addition, Youth Association and Young Pioneers' Organization officials are sent to participate in central-level training camps such as the Nguyen Chi Thanh Camp (for Youth Association officials) and the Kim Dong Camp (for Young Pioneers' Organization officials), organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union and the Central Council of the Young Pioneers' Organization.

Mechanisms are needed to "retain" dedicated staff.

Faced with new demands in the context of the streamlined consolidation of the Youth Union and Youth Association, with many changes in structure, tasks, and operating methods, many Youth Union and Youth Association officials have proactively adapted, seeing this as an opportunity to renew themselves and improve the quality of their activities.

Mr. Tran Dang Khoa stated: “In recent times, various levels and sectors have paid more attention to policies supporting Youth Union and Association officials through ensuring allowances, training, and professional development. However, the living conditions of this force, especially those with dual responsibilities, remain difficult. Therefore, in the future, it is necessary to continue improving the incentive mechanisms, training programs, and reward policies to create motivation and retain dedicated officials who are committed to youth work in the long term.”

The Central Committee of the Youth Union highly appreciates the adaptability and proactiveness of this force in the current period. Despite facing pressure from their duties and multiple responsibilities, many cadres still strive for innovation, proposing practical initiatives that contribute to overcoming difficulties and promoting the children's movement at the grassroots level.

The Central Committee of the Youth Union believes that, with their courage, dedication, and innovative spirit, the team of officials in charge of children's affairs in Ca Mau in particular and the whole country in general will continue to be a "special resource," leading the work of caring for and educating the younger generation to develop effectively, sustainably, and with great promise.
