Military Region 9 handed over 144 houses under the "Military-Civilian Solidarity" and "Houses of Gratitude" programs.

On the afternoon of December 10th, acting on behalf of the 9th Military Region Command, the 925th Economic-Defense Brigade, in coordination with the People's Committee of Da Bac commune (Ca Mau province) and the Kien Hai Special Zone (An Giang province), organized the handover of 144 houses under the "Military-Civilian Solidarity" and "Houses of Gratitude" programs to households in the area.

Colonel Vu Huy Thuy, Commander of the 925th Economic -Defense Brigade, Military Region 9, presents houses to the people of Da Bac commune.

Accordingly, Da Bac commune will receive 122 houses and Kien Hai Special Zone will receive 22 houses. This is an item under the Social Welfare and Resettlement Support Project implemented by the 925 Economic-Defense Brigade in the period 2025-2028 in communes and special zones in the southwestern coastal and island region.

Construction began on October 7th, and the entire process has been closely monitored and supervised by the contractor to ensure that the project adheres to the design, schedule, and quality standards.

The completion and handover of the houses brought great joy to the households, helping them to stabilize their living conditions and feel secure in their work and production, thereby contributing to consolidating "the people's support" and strengthening the solidarity between the military and the people in the area.
