The conference aims to equip basic knowledge and skills on information technology application for grassroots cadres, civil servants and people; contribute to improving the effectiveness of state management, promoting digital transformation, socio -economic development in ethnic minority areas; gradually narrowing the development gap between regions, improving the material and spiritual life of people.
The training session had more than 100 trainees who were officials and people from ethnic minority areas.
During the training session, trainees learned and discussed many practical contents such as: 4G, 5G Internet network and smart devices serving information technology applications; skills in applying information technology in production and business; skills in applying e-commerce in business activities and product consumption. Trainees were also guided to practice directly on computers, iPads and smartphones, experience searching for information, creating fanpages , building and managing e-commerce websites using popular tools today.
Through the training course, grassroots cadres and people have consolidated their knowledge, raised awareness and skills in applying information technology in work and daily life, contributing to promoting digital transformation, promoting socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas in U Minh commune.
*Previously, on October 22, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Ca Mau province coordinated with the People's Committee of Khanh Lam commune to organize a training course on information technology application skills for the community in production and business activities.
People of Khanh Lam commune excitedly attended the training class.
Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Van Tau, Head of the Provincial Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs; leaders of Khanh Lam commune and about 100 trainees who were hamlet officials, women's union members, youth and local people.
Mr. Nguyen Le Quyen, Lecturer of Nong Lam University - Dong Nai Branch, shared topics with people at the training session.
The class equips students with digital knowledge and skills in agricultural production and business; guides them on the application of e-commerce, the use of smartphones and social networks to promote and consume products, and look up public services online.
The activity contributes to improving people's digital capacity, promoting production and business development, improving lives and narrowing the digital gap between ethnic minority areas and urban areas.
