The first Autumn Fair officially opens.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the first Autumn Fair - 2025 is a very important economic and cultural event, not only on a national scale but also reaching international levels, honoring typical products and brands that embody Vietnamese identity and intelligence.

This event contributes to stimulating domestic consumption, spreading the spirit of "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods," promoting trade, investment, international integration, and achieving economic growth rates of over 8% in 2025 and double digits in the following years.

"I highly appreciate the first Autumn Fair - 2025, which is being held for the first time, with a short preparation time, a large volume of work, high requirements, a large area, and the need for coordination and participation from many agencies and units," the Prime Minister said.

According to government leaders, the fair not only achieved record numbers but also provided a favorable opportunity for the promotion of trade, investment, tourism , and the cultural image of Vietnam and its people to be harmoniously and effectively combined.

The fair also serves as an important bridge for Vietnamese businesses to strengthen international economic integration, exchange experiences, and receive technology transfer, especially in digital transformation, green economy, circular economy, sharing economy, and knowledge economy.

"With its strategic geographical location and the aspiration to elevate the country to new heights, through this Fair, we will gradually realize the goal of building Vietnam into a leading exhibition center in Asia, a destination for international trade fairs," the Prime Minister emphasized.

With the theme and message "Connecting People with Production and Business," the first Autumn Fair - 2025 is being organized on the largest scale ever. The total exhibition area is over 130,000 m2, comprising 5 themed zones, approximately 3,000 booths; a food and culture zone featuring cuisine from 34 localities, music festivals, cultural performances, and artistic experiences…

The exhibition brought together participants from 34 provinces and cities; central ministries and agencies; over 2,500 Vietnamese and international organizations and businesses; and also attracted a large number of international partners and friends to showcase products, conduct trade, network, and seek opportunities for cooperation and investment.

With its large scale, rich content, and most modern format ever, the first Autumn Fair - 2025 is expected to attract 500,000 visitors and transactions each day.

This is an opportunity to celebrate and showcase Vietnam's tremendous achievements over the past 40 years of reform, demonstrating the country's strong progress under the leadership of the Party and State, and the pioneering role of the Vietnamese business community.

At the same time, the fair also serves as a forum to affirm the increasingly prominent position of Vietnamese products and services in the global production and supply chain.

The first Autumn Fair - 2025 took place from October 25th to November 4th at the Vietnam Exhibition Center. This was considered the largest national-level trade event ever held.

This is a key trade promotion activity chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Finance, and the Hanoi People's Committee, as directed by the Prime Minister.
