Official opening of the first Autumn Fair

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the first Autumn Fair - 2025 is an economic and cultural event of great significance, not only on a national scale, but also reaching international level, honoring typical products and brands bearing Vietnamese identity and intelligence.

This event contributes to stimulating domestic consumption, spreading the spirit of "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese products", promoting trade, investment, international integration and achieving an economic growth rate of over 8% in 2025 and double digits in the following years.

"I appreciate the first Autumn Fair - 2025, which is being held for the first time, with a short preparation time, a lot of work, high requirements, a large area, and the coordination and participation of many agencies and units," said the Prime Minister .

According to the Government leader, the fair not only stops at record numbers but is also a favorable opportunity for trade, investment, tourism promotion and cultural promotion, the image of the country and people of Vietnam to be combined harmoniously and effectively.

The fair is also an important bridge for Vietnamese enterprises to strengthen international economic integration, exchange experiences and receive technology transfer, especially in digital transformation, green economy, circular economy, sharing economy, knowledge economy...

"With its strategic geographical location and the aspiration to bring the country to new heights, through this Fair, we will gradually realize the goal of building Vietnam into a leading exhibition center in Asia, a destination for international trade fairs," the Prime Minister emphasized.

With the theme and message "Connecting People with Production and Business", the first Autumn Fair - 2025 is organized on the largest scale ever. The total exhibition area is more than 130,000m2, including 5 thematic zones, about 3,000 booths; culinary culture areas of 34 localities, music and art programs, cultural and artistic experiences...

The exhibition gathered the participation of 34 provinces and cities; central ministries and branches; over 2,500 Vietnamese and international organizations and enterprises; and at the same time attracted a large number of international partners and friends to display products, trade, connect, and seek cooperation and investment opportunities.

With a large scale, rich content and the most modern format ever, the first Autumn Fair - 2025 is expected to welcome 500,000 visitors and traders every day.

This is an opportunity to honor and introduce Vietnam's great achievements in 40 years of renovation, demonstrating the country's strong progress under the leadership of the Party, State and the pioneering role of the Vietnamese business community.

At the same time, the fair is also a forum to affirm the increasingly high position of Vietnamese products and services in the global production and supply chain.

The first Autumn Fair - 2025 takes place from October 25 to November 4, at the Vietnam Exhibition Center. This is considered the largest national trade event ever.

This is a key trade promotion activity chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Finance and the Hanoi People's Committee, under the direction of the Prime Minister.
