The working delegation surveyed and inspected facilities, infrastructure, medical equipment, quality of human resources and listened to reports on the performance of medical stations since the province merged and implemented the two-level local government model.

At the destinations, comrade Nguyen Ho Hai specially visited and encouraged the cadres, doctors and nurses at the grassroots level, and acknowledged the spirit of dedication and devotion of the medical staff. Through the survey, the working group found that despite many difficulties, the medical stations still basically ensured operational efficiency, meeting the primary health care needs of the people.

The units recommended that the province pay attention to investing in and upgrading facilities and equipment; at the same time, strengthen training and professional development, have preferential policies, and attract high-quality human resources for grassroots health care.

Speaking at the inspection, comrade Nguyen Ho Hai, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, highly appreciated the efforts and achievements of the grassroots health system, affirming that this is a force that plays a particularly important role in protecting and taking care of people's health.

Acknowledging the difficulties and recommendations of the health stations, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the units to continue their efforts and comprehensively improve the efficiency of their operations, especially in the field of primary health care and preventive medicine. “The grassroots health care system must be the first shield, the place where people trust and come to when needed,” he emphasized.

Regarding the work of caring for and improving the quality of health for all people, the Provincial Party Secretary requested localities and the health sector to strengthen information and propaganda work, raise awareness and promote the participation and consensus of the people in protecting and caring for community health. In particular, focus on preventive medicine work, prevent outbreaks, ensure food safety and hygiene, build a civilized and healthy lifestyle, contributing to improving the quality of people's lives.

“ In every job, the human factor, with capacity, attitude and sense of responsibility, is the decisive factor for success” – the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized.

Concluding the inspection, comrade Nguyen Ho Hai said that, based on the survey results of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Ca Mau province will develop a project to develop grassroots health care in a synchronous, modern, effective and sustainable direction, aiming to improve overall quality, promote the key role of the grassroots health system in protecting and taking care of people's health when implementing the two-level local government model.
