Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Phuc, Deputy Director of Viettel Ca Mau, affirmed that the 5G base station will help people and businesses access information quickly, accurately, and stably.

The inauguration and operation of the 5G base station is of significant importance, affirming Viettel's efforts in expanding telecommunications infrastructure, improving network quality, bringing advanced technology closer to the people, and contributing to the digital transformation in Ca Mau province.

Viettel's 5G base station was inaugurated on December 8th in Hoa Thanh ward.

Accordingly, 5G, with internet speeds 10 times faster than 4G, will be the foundation for modern services such as: high-quality online education, telemedicine, high-definition entertainment and television, digital transactions, digital payments, applications in smart agriculture, and the local digital economy.

In Hoa Thanh Ward, the 5G base station will create a stronger connectivity environment, helping residents, businesses, and government agencies access information quickly, accurately, and stably, serving socio-economic development. The project is linked to the telecommunications company's commitment to infrastructure, quality, and promoting digital transformation, aiming to create a significant impetus for faster and more sustainable local development.

Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the 5G base station.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Phuc, Deputy Director of Viettel Ca Mau, affirmed that the unit will continue to invest in, expand, and upgrade infrastructure to ensure increasingly wider 5G coverage, higher speeds, and stable quality, serving the people at all times. Simultaneously, the quality of internet access, voice calls, data, and digital services will be continuously monitored 24/7.

Viettel Ca Mau also committed to accompanying the province in the digital transformation process through solutions related to digital government and digital signatures; supporting people in using digital services safely and conveniently; developing digital transaction points; and promoting cashless payments and online public services.

At the ceremony, Viettel Ca Mau held a lucky draw, giving away a mobile phone to one lucky participant.
